General Petraus released , according to Snowden, “information that was far more highly classified than I ever did" and never “spent a single day in jail.” He laments that “We have a two-tiered system of justice in the United States, where people who are either well-connected to government or they have access to an incredible amount of resources get very light punishments.” More on Snowden's plans, and what sort of deal he might accept to come back, are at:

Can I get a second? I think General Petreus may well be the worst choice Trump could come up with,(with Romney coming in a close second) which the Downsize DC link explains quite well.

I second that motion sir..

A pardon is warranted and justifiable..

Governments should not be able to hide their crimes behind classified "secrets"! If they do, then we need people like Edward Snowden, and Julian Assange! And we need organizations like WikiLeaks!

They only way we, the people, are going to find out is via leeks, and those who leek the classified "secrets" / crimes, and those willing to tell the world about the classified "secrets" / crimes!

The slippery slimy progressive liberal news media sure isn't going to tell us anything of value, and it is their freak'n job!

The only ones who should be behind bars are the government criminals who hide their crimes via classified "secrets"! As long as we have a government that hides their crimes from the people, we have a government that does not answer to the people and tyranny continues to reign..

If I had been given the opportunity to rename the Downsize DC campaign, I would have called for amnesty for Snowden, since whistleblowing should not be a crime. Having said that, Downsize DC is one of the best groups for staying on top of threats to liberty, and it is non-partisan. When Bush and Congress pushed through the Patriot Act, they were among the first to give the heads up, and the same was true when Nancy Pelosi and Obama rammed through the (un) Affordable Care Act. Downsize DC has one of the simplest systems to contact your Congressperson, as well. I cannot speak highly enough of the site or its sister site,www.zeroaggressionproject.org
