A rare look into the thoughts of Charles G. Koch.  It is very easy to see how these guys could be a huge game changer if Rand is successful in the early Primaries.  I think guys like Charles are chomping at the bit to supports someone who could win and yet carry this torch.

Koch: "Government is the social agency of coercion. Now that sounds horrible and bad, but we need coercion. Beyond that, government should be doing only those things where coercion works better then voluntary cooperation and competition."

Reporter: "That's a tough judgment call."

Koch: "Well then that is it. but the burden of prove belongs on government."

Anyone want to expend on that?

"Government is the social agency of coercion" means that he understands liberty and the nature of government.  To me, it only showed him in a good light. I believe he was saying that Government is a necessary evil that should be limited, and that there needs to be substantial reason or need to let any of their powers enumerate.
