and wig with a toboggan (just a nit pull over cap). If the shooter was in disguise, he didn't want to be identified and was not on a murder suicide mission. He apparently was planning to shoot and flee. Was the shooter trying to just hide his identity or was he trying to look like someone or some other ethnic group? Waiting to hear what the FBI tells us about the suspect's background and possible motive.

I mean I knew Texas was a racist state, but what a name for a town!

Still living in the mid 1800's?

The city got its name because it was the lone settlement of white pioneers amid several Native American villages in the Fort Worth area when the Republic of Texas was only a territory in the 1840s. The city is only 5 square miles in size. When was the last time you have been to Texas? Can you give an example of racism in Texas that makes it any different than any other state in the union? I've traveled to many states and for work to many cities in Texas. Have you ever been to Houston? Houston is one of the largest, most diversified cities in the country. All types of cultures, ethnics, religions all live together without any major typical issues compared to other cities. I have friends and family spread coast to coast and have been to many other cities, and I can assure you it's true about Texas Hospitality compared to other places I've been to. In Liberty,

...singled out just Texas.

South Carolina is actually the most racist state.

As evidenced by their then racist governor (and typical republican) Nikki Haley who refused to take down the Confederate flag flying at the state capitol building until that white guy gunned down all those black churchgoers.

The black voters in that state had tried to get her to remove that flag off government property  ever since she took office because they had to pay for it too as taxpayers.

But finally - because it was good for her politically - the dirty racist bitch took it down.  And put it in a museum.

Anyone who thinks the south is not still racist is delusioned.

My dad was from Kentucky and I have been to every state down there as a youngster when there were wtill whites-only drinking fountains and seperate lunch counters  in department stores for black people - away from the whites.

By the way, I'm as white as they come and I would never choose to be black because I know what they (still) go through that I never had to.

So yes, your right - I'm just as disappointed as you are that I have to say what I say.

don't associate the Confederate flag with racism. They see it as part of their heritage, the "Rebel" part as standing up for "States Rights". It was the flag of the Confederate States of America, not the flag of slavery. The Civil War was about more than just slavery. I have to agree that there are racists who see the flag as some type of symbol; however, that's not its original heritage.  I feel the media and Left are the ones who have pushed  the negative association in the name of social justice and the true history of the Confederate flag is misunderstood . As much as I don't care for Nikki Haley, I'm not buying your example of what happened in South Carolina as proof the flag is raciest.
