The more our law enforcement interacts with prejudiced Israel paramilitary police, the more American police will view citizens as the enemy. Especially legitimate peaceful protests protected by the 1st Amendment.

Very frustrating. Most of the police officers out there have good intentions and there dealing with the criminals out there. I have friends that are police officers. However; they're human like anyone else and some are corrupted have control issues whatever. A good example is that no-knock raid where two innocent people were shot and killed down in Houston. I've had attorneys tell me that in a high-profile custody case you can find a cop you can pay to plant drugs on someone to ruin their credibility. While most of the bad things don't get reported in the media there are a lot of good cops stopping bad guys everyday. I have had conversation with my police friends that just because it's a law, doesn't mean it's a good law and don't be a tool for corrupt politicians and their laws.

after I got out of the Marines. I saw some cruption but I though it was just local. I started working for a Sheriffs Dept in the mid 2000. Seeing the cruptions I decided to get out of law enforcement. Most officer start out to be law abiding, but the swamp keeps those good officer in the shadows. You seldom hear of a law enforement officers arresting another law enforcement officer for criminal activity. If the illlegal activity makes the news,  too often, the officer resigns and get hired by another agency.

Too many law enforecement will lie in reports, lie in court to protect other law enforcement that have committed crimes.
