Alex Jones Of Infowars

Let's talk about Alex Jones for a bit.

1. Alex constantly rants about money.

2. Alex constantly brags about his influence.

3. Alex is basically the radio equivalent of a bullshit promoter for the WWF.

4. Alex is occasionally funny. :)

.Alex's primary strength is his fleeting wit combined with his ability to bullshit supporters into sending him money.  I fully realize that Infowars' expenses are massive and Infowars deserves to be supported even if for someone like David Knight exclusively. Alex, the promoter, is needed to generate revenue. Years ago, I recommended that Infowars switch to DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale) for shortware broadcasts. Genesis Communications Network currently acts as the intermediary for Infowars on shortwave via WWCR. Infowars' costs could be significantly reduced if Alex would concentrate on using digital shortware for broadcasting and minimzing use of AM, FM, satellite, TV, SpyNet, and the SpyPhone. Traditional AM and FM stations should be limited to large markets exceeding a million people. Digital shortwave is the most flexible means of reaching the most people for the least amount of money. Digital shortwave circumvents informational gatekeepers such as Facebook. True, Alex Jones, would have to build much of the needed infrastructure to effectively deploy DRM on shortwave, but the overall cost would be much, much cheaper with time. People would buy DRM receivers such as Gospell's GR-216 to listen to Infowars. Infowars could even contract with Gospell to carry an 110V version of the GR-216 in its on-line store.

WBCQ is building a new 500 kW shortwave transmitting station in Monticello, ME with DRM capability. Maybe, Infowars should investigate the possibility of broadcasting some of their content from this new facility in DRM instead of wasting huge sums of money on needless AM, FM, satellite, TV, and social networks with their gatekeepers. Whew, then listeners could breathe a sigh of relief not having to hear Alex beg for money every 5 minutes. Frank was right, Alex. ;)

Mr. Jones,

You wrongly keep repeating the ignorant line that those old shortwave ANALOG transmitters at WWCR don't bring you any revenue because their primarily beam is toward Africa. How do I know when I want to buy a product from Infowars, then? ;) Stop repeating such nonsense! WWCR's shortwave transmitters have SIGNIFICANT REVERSE and SIDE lobes in the eastern half of the USA which I hear DAILY. Those reverse and side lobes cover most of the USA.

I'll keep saying it until YOU get it through your rather thick and dull brain. Get GCN and WWCR to start broadcasting robust digital SW (DRM) and start developing this platform to sell your products. While you're tweaking this platform, start planning for a mobile, SW DRM platform as well.

Now that the corporate fascists, e.g. Apple and Facebook, are displaying their true colors, it's time for me to say it again. Digital shortwave (drm.org, drmrx.org/forum) IS the answer to these fascist censors. With a modern DRM transmitter, it's damn difficult to jam a shortwave frequency reliably. International broadcasters can reliably reach nearly anywhere in the world. Creating a ship-based DRM transmitting platform allows movement to nearly any continent in the world with a transmitter of modest power, e.g. 20 kW digital (50 kW analog). Solar could assist in generating sufficient power.

Although detestible, these corporate fascists have the RIGHT to censor anyone on THEIR platform. As long as ACCESS to the Spynet isn't restricted via the IP provider, these fascists can restrict anyone of their choosing. Stop whining about this problem and start using a reliable, independent platform such as digital shortwave, e.g. DRM.
